A New Web Site for World’s Top Environmental Concern
The World’s First Online Community for Water Utility Professionals
Santa Barbara, CA—July 24, 2008— Forester Media, Inc. has launched a new interactive
Water Efficiency magazine Web site – www.WaterEfficiency.net,
allowing water utility professionals to connect over solving water supply
problems that are increasingly affecting every community in the world. In 2006,
Water Efficiency magazine was the first publication to exclusively address
public water utility strategies for improving water management. The EPA’s
WaterSense program and compounding drought in large regions of the U.S. have
increased the awareness of, and need for, new-and-proven ways to
manage water resources.
"Since we launched Water
Efficiency magazine and WaterEC, The
International Water Efficiency Conference, water efficiency has become the top
environmental concern worldwide," said Daniel Waldman, publisher and president
of Forester Media, Inc. "WaterEfficiency.net is where water utility professionals can come together and
help each other address snowballing water supply challenges."
Water Efficiency editor
Elizabeth Cutright said, "With our interactive Web presence, water conservation
professionals will find themselves surrounded by a like-minded community willing
to share ideas as well as matter-of-fact solutions for the myriad challenges
they face. Water Efficiency
is the magazine professionals read to stay
current, and now they have a place to go online to interact and talk
back, and help to drive the profession forward."
The new www.WaterEfficiency.net allows
professionals to participate in live discussions and blogs, get answers to
questions, comment on articles, share views, access Web-only articles, subscribe
to news feeds and newsletters, find current events, search back issues of
Water Efficiency magazine, and read the latest issue of Water Efficiency as soon as it publishes. Web events will be announced online
at www.WaterEfficiency.net
.
The new www.WaterEfficiency.net launched July 17, 2008. With a controlled circulation of
25,362, Water Efficiency
magazine is complimentary to qualified water
quality professionals. Subscriptions are available at www.WaterEfficiency.net .
