An “Eco” Edge

By: Cutright, Elizabeth Comments

I’m currently in Austin, TX, attending the first annual SXSW Eco, a three-day conference focusing on “the need for a concerted approach across the public, private, and academic sectors to solving the recognized challenges facing the environment, the economy, and civil society.” Included among the speakers and presenters are some of the top names in clean tech, environmentalism, sustainability, and resource management. I’m looking forward to hearing from a variety of voices, and I’ll be tweeting all the latest news and insights throughout the conference.

While I sit in on presentations, rub elbows with technology experts, and take copious notes on the latest water resource management and energy efficiency projects and technologies, let’s pause and take a look back at some of the past stories on the water/energy nexus:

The Go Green Education Program

More Than Just Backup

China Pulls the Plug

Smart Metering

Energized Efficiency

Controlled Power
