HDR's Water Business Group Awarded Oregon JWC Aquifer Storage and Recovery Phase I Project
(PORTLAND, Ore., July 26 , 2010)—HDR’s Water business group in HDR’s Portland office has been awarded the Joint Water Commission’s Aquifer Storage and Recovery Phase I project.
The Joint Water Commission is an agency providing drinking water treatment and distribution for the Oregon cities of Beaverton, Forest Grove and Hillsboro, and the Tualatin Valley Water District in Portland’s metropolitan area.
HDR will serve as the prime contractor with Carollo and Groundwater Solutions Inc., as team partners.
Jeanne LeJeune, Water marketing manager in the Portland office, said this project is a big addition to HDR’s portfolio of ASR projects. Other projects include:
· The Oregon cities of Beaverton, Baker City, Canby and Salem
· The Washington cities of Kennewick, Walla Walla and Bremerton
· An industrial ASR client (Boise Cascade)
· An agricultural client (Umatilla Basin)
